We’ll be there from 12-3 with our Live Animal Display. We might have our kids table with wooden snake and salamander painting for the teens to take home. So, what is going on? Calling all high schoolers, you are invited to McPherson and Innocenti Park in Beverly on Saturday, June 17th from 12-3pm for the FREE North Shore Teen Summer Send-off organized by the North Shore Youth Leaders! Grab some friends and form teams to play throwback field-day games like egg and spoon races and tug-of-war, work on crafts like friendship bracelets or pin-back buttons you can put on your backpack, and grab some free chicken sandwich sliders from Flip The Bird or a slice of pizza from Salerno's. There will even be plate smashing, a live DJ, a video game tournament, and raffle prizes. We hope to see you there! A fun community challenge will also take place: the community with the most sign-ups will get the chance to dunk a local adult in the dunk tank. This will be the 5th consecutive year of the Teen Summer Send-Off, and we are excited to continue bringing youth together for a positive start to summer.
