We have two main offerings which include Introduction to Vernal Ponds and Snakes of New England and the World. These are interactive and hands on activities.

Vernal Pond Children's Program
This includes My First Field Guide to Vernal Pools Coloring Book, MA Edition, by Dr. Kristine Hoffmann AND our 15 minute Vernal Ponds movie that was made entirely on Cape Ann

Vernal Pond Field Trips
We offer both daytime and nighttime field trips that are engaging activities out in the field. People can see and experience vernal ponds first hand. Our field trip guidelines are also on this page.

Vernal Pond Certifications and Workshops
We do field surveys and then record and certify in order to protect vernal ponds. We also teach vernal pond certification.

Vernal Pond Scouts Patch Program

Vernal Pond Scouts Patch Program 
Troop 137 developed guidelines for an educational program for girl scouts and boy scouts to earn their 'Cape Ann Vernal Pond Scouts' patch.
