Audubon Nature Festival at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary - Snake Exhibit

  • 04 Jun 2017
  • 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary, Topsfield, MA

I'll be helping out one of my favorite nature educators Richard Wolniewicz, plus I'll have a bunch of native snakes.

The Audubon Nature Festival is a fundraising event for Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary.

Enjoy ongoing activities throughout the day at Mass Audubon's 20th Annual Audubon Nature Festival. This year's special feature will be live owl presentations by Marcia and Mark Wilson of Eyes On Owls. Come see live owls up close, learn about their natural history, and join in a hooting lesson.

At the festival you can:

  • Crawl inside our demonstration beaver lodge
  • Learn about solar power, sustainability, and ways to be more "green" through exhibits and activities.
  • Enjoy naturalist-guided walks and pond explorations
  • Get henna tatoos
  • Have your face painted
  • Do children's crafts and activities
  • See our exhibit of native reptiles and amphibians
  • Visit an insect zoo
  • Enjoy music all day
  • There will also be food, a bake sale, ice cream, and much more.

The popular raffle returns again this year, plus we will have craft demonstrations and many new vendors.
